I had to really lower the % on each channel. With the starting settings given in the manual it printed too much ink. I didn't try with FilmMaker but T-Rip now allows printing from all channels but took some trial and error to get it to print the right amount of ink.
All did a good job but filmMaker and T-rip did a excellent job. I recently test drove almost every rip that allowed a trial and made the same screens from the same artwork file. This rip has variable dot allowing 3 different dots per cell all others only 1 per cell. There is a big advantage with this rip over many other rips. filmMaker and T-Rip allow an upgrade from fastRIP the back bone is cadlink.
Filmmaker And fastrip are almost exactly the same and so is T-Rip.
